Kim Smith

As Chief Operations Officer at CAP Northwest, Kim plays a vital role in managing day-to-day operations and ensuring the seamless execution of strategic initiatives. With a strong focus on operational efficiency and organizational excellence, she develops systems and processes that ensure every client receives exceptional support throughout their journey.

Kim earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Eastern Washington University in 2006. Her strong background in bookkeeping, accounting, and tax services gives her a deep understanding of the multiple facets of financial planning, enabling us to serve clients with care and attention to every detail.

Kim has always been passionate about creating an environment for others to succeed. She takes pride in bringing precision and purpose to her work, empowering our advisors to provide the best service possible so that every interaction with CAP Northwest makes clients feel seen, valued, and confident. Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time with her extended family at their “beach club” on the Spokane River in Post Falls, Idaho.
